Listen and Trust resonate with me…
I have read, tree roots actually communicate with one another through a complex network of soil, micro organisms and fungi, even to warn of potential dangers. Thus, my interpretation of your art piece is…Roots “listen” by gathering information, communicating with its environment…”trusting” they have what is needed to become what they are designed to be. Nor do they worry of being eaten, trampled, inundated, scorched or deemed as unwanted and abruptly mowed down. This will be me 🌷

Great interview! I love the idea of writing a letter to the creative spirit. It will help me to not feel guilty for walking away from making art for so many years. She doesn’t hold it against me, and neither should I.
